Which do you hate most, a trip to the dentist or a trip to the gynecologist?

How could anything be any worse then going to a gynecologist? You lay on your back with your feet in stirrups, and have a conversation with a person who is sitting on a stool directly in front of the most private part of your body. How have the kids been? Is your husband still trying to improve his garden?....There is something very surreal about the whole thing!

Dentist. I have to pay for that.
Gynocologist is covered by Canadian Health Policy.
Sarah, who says she has never seen a gynecologist, if you are active at all, seriously you should be checked once a year. It would be awful if you got cervical cancer or some other highly preventable problem because you don't like having someone poking warm plastic into your vagingaginga.
I had to accompany both my daughters for their first checks and after that they realized it is a breeze. But then, when they were babies I got a lady doctor knowing that eventually that would come .... Honestly it is not that bad but it is very important. Same goes to the WIFE who calls her privates a "peepee"?

Wow, tough choice but the dentist more involves pain usually and the gynecologist is just uncomfortable..... Probably the dentist which is why I haven't been to one in ages...lol

Well when I was in my teens, I had the most horrible,want to kill my self teeth, my dads company paid alot to fix them, waste of money,as they were non repairable, Then went out on my own, had 2 sons, still crap teeth, & near went insane, was on welfare & well finnaly got the problem fixed,with funding from the government, & have dentures now, so ya the gynagolistist is far more easier than the hell I went through with the teeth department.

Dentist. The whole thing with them cleaning my teeth with the gritty stuff drives me insane. I do hate sitting in the waiting room at the gyno office, though.

I agree with undetestable... Definitely the gyno... Besides, I like the dentist. I love having clean, polished teeth!

Depends on what they're doing... If it's just a regular pap, then I hate the dentist more- especially if the dentist is doing more than just a cleaning. Neither of them really bother me though.

Well... I've never been to a gyne because I'm too scared, lol... So I guess my answer would be the gyne, since I hate the thought of someone inspecting my "hoo-hoo" so much that I've never bothered to go to one!
