No. I'm using yahoo everyday. Don't need to even touch norton. Its two different thing. Yahoo is a website and norton is an anti-virus.

Yahoo is a website. Norton is an anti-virus program. The 2 have nothing to do with each other.

to answer your question is to say no. The two have nothing to do with one another. Norton is a protection program, Yahoo is a site on the internet.
Hope it helps.

Norton is mostly security. Yahoo is a portal to jump around with like MSN is.
You did not tell us if Norton (Symantec) came with your ISP as an AntiVirus and Spam filter as I did with my ISP (Internet Service Provider). When posting questions, the more info you provide, the better to get good answers.

Please re-post and describe your problem in detail. Then maybe we can help.
Norton and Yahoo have nothing to do with each other, assuming you don't have Norton on your PC, if so, that IS the problem.

Yahoo mail uses the Norton AntiVirus scanning engine to check incoming e-mail attachment for viruses. Since it runs on Yahoo's servers you don't have to have it running on your local machine.

No. as the first anwerer said - nothing to do with each other. And don't leet anyone say otherwise.
Norton is to assist you with security of your computer. Yahoo is a service on the internet.
