There is nothing wrong with a c section - I had the first for medical reasons and the second was optional so I had a c section and the third had to happen. I dont have an issue with it and I think that it is up to the woman. I dont think child birth done naturally is all that great either my mother had 4 babies all naturally and had a protracted womb - the womb falls down and either needs to be removed when the woman is older (40s) or undergo a surgical procedure to lift the womb or there are excercises to do. There are lots of complications with natural births - things do go wrong like breaches and cords around the neck no give me caesar any day.

they have a scar. and they might sense slightly below pleased with their childbirth adventure. yet in the different case they're an similar. I felt ripped off when I had my c-section. i develop into waiting for yet another vag delivery and at the same time as it did not pan out i develop into surely upset that I "ignored out" on that adventure. different females sense an similar, distinctly if the purely reason that they had a component contained in the first position develop into because the health practitioner drugged them as a lot as their eyeballs and screwed up their labour progression. maximum females in North u . s . a . who've sections do not truly favor them; although the pitocin, epidurals, and 2d dose of pitocin go away your uterus in a foul spot, and then the newborn starts responding poorly because the pit makes your contractions so a lot extra severe, and then the purely decision is surgical operation. If medical doctors weren't so pitocin-satisfied the section price will be a recommendations decrease, and extra females would have satisfied delivery reports. yet I digress. i have had a vag delivery and a c-section delivery. performed both. Vaginal is unquestionably extra effective. that is safer, it really is extra effective for the mum and the newborn, the fix is faster, you do not have a scar on your uterus (that can probably rupture next time you supply delivery....), it has a lot less issues, it really is extra organic, it makes a distinction for some females in bonding with their infant (you're not any more getting an similar hormone cascade from a component that you get from a vaginal delivery)....i might want to bypass on. That reported, the c-section delivery kept my daughter's life and likely mine too. As painful and not undemanding because the fix develop into, and as not undemanding because it develop into to bond with my little ok, she would have died without it and that i'd have bled to demise. happy I stay in an era the position such surgical operation is an decision if you favor it! There are worse issues than a c-section. they don't seem to be ideal, and optional ones are purely loopy....yet there are worse issues.

i don't think you can just opt for a c-section.....my first two children were natural births without drugs......for me they were very uncomfortable but at the time not unbearable.....when I finally asked for drugs...it was too late...never was I asked through my pregnancy if I would prefer a c-section or vaginal birth.....my third I labored for 42+ hours and finally had an emergency section...the baby's heart rate dropped then disappeared and later it was found the cord had wrapped around the babies neck 6 times.......I was sedated and cut from the belly button down.......and she was out in under 6 minutes......it was done to save my child's life.....recovering from the c-section was alot harder......I don't believe women are offered the choice if there is no need......it would seem unethical on the doctors part for offering it

Mainly for two reasons: fear of normal labor ( especially the first one) because they know it is long, painful end extremely exhausting and:
second: convenience derived from social engagements (any)

In many States and Countries, the C-Section is overused, either by patients request, or medical suggestion (economical benefit for the doctor)

I'd say there are damn few doctors who will do this. It's major surgery and not something that a doctor will do "just because".
I think it's against AMA guidelines, and KNOW it's against hospital policies.

I don't know why they would want a c-section unless medically necessary. I had two. But, anyway, maybe they want it because having a vaginal birth stretches their vagina and they think it won't go back into shape?

Guess they're afraid of not being "tight".

I had a C-section myself and wish I could have delivered normally...oh well....
