I say yes. Our nation will disintegrate before the masses get off their fat asses and stop the destruction of our nation.

Neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party is doing anything to stop the spiral down of standards in our nation. Political Parties are not the answer.

Question: Are the Americans too much like sheep to start a 2nd American Revolution to fix our nation's ills? I say yes.

What do you say--yes or no.

To the first 9 answers--I never said anything about bloodshed. It is possible to shutdown the nation and overthrow the government without bloodshed.

To anybody who says the answer is at the voting booth, you are naive beyond descriptiopn. Neither party has done anything stop the degrading of our national sovereignty. The Democrats are liberal socialists, and the Republicans are now acting like Democrats.

Only two possiblities can save our nation: 1] a 2nd American Revolution, or 2] martial law. We may get martial law if the terrorists nuke us. God knows that Bush is not waging war against terrorist nations, but chasing thugs in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, and Bush rolls out red carpets at the Mexican border instead of stopping the invasion. The Democrats are swiss cheese when it comes to national security.

We will probaly get nuked by a terrorist, then the military will have to declare martial law. Only martial law or a 2nd American Revolution can fix us.

I say yes. I think it's past time. The moment hippies began to take seats of power there should have been a revolution. Unfortunately I cannot think of anyone truly qualified to lead it.

The vast majority- yes.

Problem is that if you try anything like that the FBI nabs you you pretty quick and suddenly you are on a tropical island vacation.

Nope the next revolution will have to take place by external means. The government faultiers then falls apart and the survivors pick up the pieces to rebuild but not in the same light as today.

The supreme court (all 5 liberal judges voting in lock-step) (all 4 conservative judges took the opposite stand) recently ruled you can loose your property (real estate) if someone figures out how to make the government richer by confiscating it and converting it into something that will provide a higher tax base. They don't have to justly compensate you for your loss either.
They also took away your rights to free political speech by changing the laws regarding campaign advertising.
NOW they have a resolution supported by all on the LEFT (Democrats only) to take away the rights of radio stations to discuss political issues openly.
They are Fascist pigs.
Some of us may eventually get angry enough to do something about it - BEFORE they eliminate the second amendment.

Even volcano's take time to erupt. They just don't explode without warning. By the time a full scale revolution were under way, most people in the military and law enforcement would already know which side they were taking, I would think. People are people, they say one thing today and another thing tomorrow. Who knows what side one would take. No matter the situation I was in, I would have to do what was right, even if it meant death.

A revolution is already underway in America. It just doesn't involve anarchy and bloodshed. It's called a 3rd Party response to the 2 Party's who are not listening to the people.
Your illustration of the American people as "sheep" is a rather uppity and arrogant depiction.

The revolution you want need not be bloody, because we can use our constitution to do the dirty work for us. We have the right to vote out all of the party politicians thereby changing the direction of the country without bloodshed.

I say that we have it better than anywhere else in the world. Do we have our problems? Sure we do! But who doesn't?
It is people like you that try to bring down the country, not the Dems or Repubs.
