This seems to be a logical assumption, if only viewed from the idea that someone in a body has to firstly grow that body into a machine that can absorb information-elementary thoughts must first be taught them in order for more complex thoughts to be imagined.
But, since there are no absolutes in this universe, an individual could theoretically be able to make the jump on any given subject without having to have elementary thoughts. But the "how" of an individual arriving at that concept would thus have to be summated in elementary thoughts-expounding it would not necessarily need elementary thoughts for the individual, but conveying it to others so they understand might.

What if I told you I have always felt like that, but just couldn't put it into words?
My opinion is: Nice question if you can define elementary thoughts. Seems to me there is quite a bit of expounding going on without any thought!

Elementary thoughts would require supplementary and complementary ideas to expound anything significant. The elementary need merely to be stated in a cohesive and focused way.

well my opinion about it is that- the elementry thoughts that arise in different people and diff minds firstly depends on his past deeds.Because all human are beings but with different level of intellectuallity and diff level of thinking.Again one thought and several brains view the same thought differently.coming to the point elementry thoughts is not only the reason of a subject or either an objects expoundation. It also depends how that elementry thought was given a result or may be that thought already was in existence but their was no one bold enough to bring it into expoundation or the circumstances were not clear enough for its clarity to come out to the world.

It seems that way, doesn't it? If the mass of an object had not been defined, Newton would not have been able to formulate the gravitational force.
But then again, the apple was just an apple regardless of its mass, and when it fell down from the tree, its act of falling inspired Newton to discover the gravitational force.
Sometimes, when you think so much about a subject, a light starts illuminating in the mind, regardless of what has been established in the past by other scholars.

I believe the most profound ideas are realized by quieting the mind. My main criteria for assessing if an idea is truthful is, "is it simple and easy to understand"? I do believe in intuition, however I cannot tell you exactly what that is. None of this however rules out what you call elementary thought.
Because animals do not have the ability to think as humans do, I would conclude our ability to manifest anything would be comparable to an animal, if we had no thought process.
