I just wanted to let every one know how much questions and answers have helped me.I have really had a hard life.I have a alcoholic for a husband,4 daughters,(one is a alcoholic who is a cutter) She is also a manic depressant, bipolar. Another daughter died last August from cancer. My husband never gave me 1 ounce of help or respect. He had a stroke 4 years ago and was left totally disabled.I hold a full time job then come home and help another daughter take care of him. With out her I would not be able to do it(she is really great). I have no other friends. Then I found Questions and Answers. I answer questions all the time. Its like getting an extended family who I can help solve their problems or ask for help myself. It has helped me to get rid of a lot of stress that was built up.I am really depressed but things are looking up.THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I probably have never personally answered one of your questions, but maybe you have helped me, so thank you. And we are all connected one way or another, and affect each other. The large extended family works, and yes, it makes us feel good about ourselves and useful. Half the time, in life, I feel like I am just in the way, but on here I feel like I have more meaning, and I can actually help people. Thanks for pointing out the goodness of these boards. I hope life does turn up for you, you DEFINITELY deserve it more than pretty much anyone I know. Good luck. <3

What a jewel of a person wrote those heartfelt words. What you are going through is loneliness and disappointment on about every level, yet you come on a website and find hope and thank an audience that you cannot hold or touch. I can only imagine how wonderful it would feel for you to be held in the arms of someone strong and safe. I agree with those above who said to find a church. If you are a Christian, go for one where you feel comfortable and at home. If not, try a non-denominational church to see if it feels like a safe place to worship and fellowship. Another suggestion if you can find time to get away is to try a 12-Step program for people in relationships with alcoholics or dependent on drugs. I believe it is called ALYNON. You will find people there who are in worse shape than you and those who have managed to overcome the pain associated with codependency. I wish you the best.

Good for you. I had a rocky start on questions and answer and was a bit of a fool and got booted off and I was up to a level seven at least..but i was stupid and ranted and raved when i was upset and said a lot of foolish things and lost my Yahoo..and all the privledges that goes with it..
I know this is nothing compared to what you went throug but I learned not to say whatever comes to my mind and not respond to trols who act dumb..you get my drift?
Well, I too have been married twice and divorced twice with two children and five step children...but now I am married for the third time to a women for 21 years and it is no bed of roses but most of the time we are happy as she is a non drinker and a non smoker and she was never married before and has no children..she also is a good cook...housekeeper..and although we have our fights ...like about every day..lol..this is a good marriage but no marriage is a bed of roses...but I am glad you found Yahoo! questions and answers as there are a lot of good input by a lot of people who are basiclly good...i believe that 90% of the people are ok..but watch out for that 10%..lol..you know what i mean..I too am prone to depression but I believe this is a condition that can be treated..maybe even cured..but I do take an anti-depressant..and it seems to make my life a little more stable..and I don't smoke or drink very much as my wife does not do these things..but good luck to you and your family
I was very happy to read your letter as I am going to bed soon and I always like to read about a success story ...it gives us all a lot of hope for a better tomorrow...God Bless you!!!

an exceedingly frightening action picture is greater with regard to the experience you get while staring at it than the particularly action picture itself. Open doorways and homestead windows. Wait till it gets dark out and there is little to no circulation outdoors. Watch the action picture with people who prefer to get scared. for my area, i admire video clips that make me bounce. I watched homestead on Haunted Hill with a pair of pals. They have been the final frightening action picture pals ever through fact they have been so girly. They jumped in any respect the the final option aspects interior the action picture which made me bounce too. That action picture is now my famous frightening action picture through experience I had as quickly as I first watched it.

wow, on behalf of everyone you're more than welcomed. And I must say that I also feel the next step should be to join a non denominational church. May God bless you and keep you in all thy ways!

You are a hero. Remember that you are only given so many tears in a lifetime. Once you have cried them all, there will be no more need to cry.
When you can, give yourself and your daughter a time-out, by yourself, or with her. You earned it and you need it

Time to join a non-denominational church. Christians will be happy to help you understand the necessity for a relationship with God and will be able to help with the physical problems.

Remember to help someone else once your life improves! :)

Thank you for sharing back with us. We appreciate it too. I have three boys (2 bipolar) and a soon-to-be ex-wife that's bi-polar too, so my heart goes out to you.
