my answer is no.

love isn't blind. it's people who are blind to love.

love is patient, and kind. i think thats from the bible in corinthians. here is "the message" version of what love is.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first,"
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

as you can see, "Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. " and "Doesn't fly off the handle" is true love at it's finest, where all involved partners are taking the time to enjoy the journey rather than focusing on the destination. when the journey is more important than the destination, it is highly unlikely the members will make rash desicions and hurting others, themselves or their relationships with one another: translation: true love takes it "slow" and is patient to wait-not to rush into things too soon!

I hate to say this but the answer to this is yes. I have found this to be true with most relationships. Love can be the largest set of blinders ever found. I do talk from experience. I lived in a very abusive situation for over 10 years. I loved this man more than life itself. I could not get past the part that he loved me and that He could change for Love. I did not see all the other stuff going on due to the fact I loved him and that is all that mattered. I look back now and wonder how I could have been so blind to not see all the things that had went on. My mother and I'm sure other mothers have all wished they could set there children straight and then they would not have to deal with such things. Unfortunately life is lessons we have to learn on our own. I just hope that your eyes are open before it is too late and you will be unable to change something that should have never occurred to begin with.

I don't believe that it totally blinds you from seeing the truth. But it certainly makes it hard to accept that the person you love is hurting you.

I was being cheated on by someone I love. I was so paranoid that it was happening, all the signs were there and I accused him of it often. He denied it fiercly every time, and I believed him 100% every time. But I was right!

Yes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's not bad to be so in love with your partner when you marry them that you don't realize how annoying some of their habits are. And by the time you do realize this, there are so many other good things you have made together that you deal with those bad ones as well.

I am not sure but I have a question for you...

My fiance's feet smell, so I am told. HE and his family have told me that he has had surgery and is on perscriptions to cure this problem. I live in a house of about 65 people right now and one night he stayed on the guy's floor and they say his feet smell.

Yet, I have yet to smell them. Does love blind your sense of smell as well?

It is called fermones, look that up, it is hormones that are given off almost like animals in heat and attract the opposite sex when the chemistry is right. So I would say lust if blind

No, not in the least. But love does sometimes prevent you from acting on the truth.

Yes. I believe it does. Your so in love that you think that some things aren't true. You think that someone couldn't do something bad because you love them, you want to see the best in them. It happened to me.
