We broke it, so it is our moral obligation to leave it no worse off than it was under Saddam. Even that will be difficult, but if we put policies in place that are based on reality instead of fantasy it might be achievable.

I don't like the present situation, but the day we pull military forces out of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Israel are history. Keep that thought in mind when you mull over your advocacy. If the Muslims didn't have the United States as a whipping boy, they would gouge each others throats trying to dominate the various theocracies.

Hopefully after the Iraqi government can defend itself.
If the American people want to pull out of Iraq, then the American people will have to elect politicians that want to pull out of Iraq. Almost all of the democratic congressmen recently voted to keep the war going. That doesn't sound like people who want to end it.

Ideally, it would be best for everyone if we never left Iraq.
We represent a stablizing force there. The only other kind of stablizing force they know is a brutal dictator.
What Iraq really needs is about 20 years to forget all the bad blood and get back to being human again. Just because a bunch of idiot liberals have a burning desire for us to get out to prove some point doesn't mean that we should. Liberals (and conservatives for that matter) have no say in the matter. It's not our country.
When they want us to leave, we can leave. As long as we're welcome, we should stay.

When the people who actually know what is going on think it is best. So many people watch the news and make an opinion. do you really think you hear the truth. Look at when anna nicloe died and that uproar, it is all about what sells newspapers etc,. We cannot make the decision, politicians lie too much too.

Right now it is a difficult question to answer, but hopefully soon and at the right time. But it is not the right time now to retreat and allow terrorist to believe that they can do what ever they want. And they want you and I to submit to their Allah, what's up with that ?
I would really like to see the Iraqi government stabilize itself to defend its own land, but it is not at that point right now. The Iraqi government cannot even trust their own military and police, because of their cowardly acts and leaking of sensitive information.

We can't afford to leave Iraq. Bush got us stuck. Seriously, chaos would reign supreme.
We need to get them on their own feet, and maintain a small presence, especially border patrols to prevent Iran from sending in terrorists.
I do want it to end, we should bring our troops home, but I am for working it out so that we would leave a smaller amount of US troops on the ground, maybe 10 or 20 thousand within the next year.

It should be done now. There is already a lot of hurt and anger and it looks like its getting worst.
