started a *new* life, after an unfulfilling marriage, then suddenly after awhile met someone else and HAVE A PASSIONATE RELATIONSHIP beyond belief?
what I mean by older is 55 or more?
I think 'maybe' a lot of folks out there are convinced for some odd reason that after a certain age, passion can't exist.
I'm way under that age, I'm asking coz I am in an unfulfilling marriage, don't know where it'll end up after yrs. to come, want to give it a chance to survive, but w/more yrs. to see, NEED SOME HOPE that if it doesn't , well thenI can feel passsion again w/some0ne new eventually--and a LOT of it, to make up for the heartache or stagnation, ect.
thanks a bunch

Yes, there is hope for everyone to find a true love and a fulfilling marriage. If you can't "fix" a broken marriage your in through communication, therapy, or some other means. Give yourself another shot and shoot for the stars, to grab that passion and ride it to the moon the next time around!

I'm not in that age bracket. But I divorced my husband and I did this very thing months after choosing to leave him. I'm 28 and he's 30. If you know what you want and the universe knows what you want it will come to you TRUST! You can't continually waste your time in a relationship. I got out for myself and haven't regretted it since. It was like relieving years of stress off. Emotional, physically, mentally. Do you!! Don't let life pass you by and be one of those what ifs later on down the road.

You need to talk to your SO first. See if there's a way to transition where your marriage to a healthier place. If you haven't done the work then you shouldn't be thinking about leaving yet. Me and my ex did and we're better off for it. It was only 3 years but I knew that I wouldn't be in it 100% so it was time to make a change.

Well, after my grandmother passed away, my grandfather had a new relationship with a long time family friend who had lost her husband. At my brother's wedding there was a debate on how to introduce her, since she isn't our grandmother, but holds a position of respect. She pipes up with (at the age of 80, by the way) "Why don't you just say lover?" We all just about died, but it's very correct to say that they had a passionate relationship, and didn't even get together until they were in their 70s.

I was married the first time for 19 years, and divorced when I found out he committed bigamy. It took me 3 years to find an absolutely wonderful man, whom I love more than I ever thought I could love again. We dated for 3 years and have been married for one year and four months. Yes, there is life after a bad marriage. If you can't save the one you have now (try everything you can first) then don't give up hope that there is someone who will knock your socks off out there waiting for you!

I am 56 and I have had more love and passion when older.

I divorced. and the marriage was not good. For me it is incredable to be passionate at this age and beyond.

Oh there is so much hope!

Of course older people still have passion. You just have to be with the right person.
