Obama is black, and despite the PC BS, there are still many racist people in the US. Yes, he is an empty suit, and I think he won’t get elected not only for this, but because, yes, he’s black.

Hillary, despite Bill Clinton and the enormous growth intellectually and wisdom he has shown, she will be the death because of her domineering attitude, her general intense dislike amongst those who do dislike her and…she’s hillary, whatever.

If they nominate either Hillary or Obama, the democrats will lose.
In reality, they are political statements, not actual nominees....the actual ones who have a run are Richardson, Edwards and (surpise) Al Gore...which is waiting the others kill each other only to emerge later--why would it be in his interest to do otherwise anyway? (this is captain obvious).

Richardson seems reasonable enough, I don’t personally like Edwards because he seems to me an even bigger blowhard than a normal democrat….if you have a wife with cancer, you

you don’t capitalize off it, you get out of the campaign and attend to ‘family matters’…that would be the A, correct choice. 400 dollar haircuts….hmmm….not very cool

Personally, if I were forced to be a democrat at gunpoint and vote, I would go for Richardson. But given Al Gore (as the secret weapon and eventual real nominee—together with his annoying movie), I would have to say he’s the best bet for the demo-crats.

Although I am independent. This seems to me though, to be their strategy......I think by nature democrats are disingenuous btw (I know, what a surprise : )

as a psychological profile, they tend to be very uptight inside, yet have a very fake image on the outside...causing them to be in upheaval and unbalanced individuals in general.

so, yea, They are fake. I don't think this exactly an esoteric view.

Just to elaborate on this,...despite all their claims to being like the common man, not a single democratic nominee that went to the debate go in commercial but instead, all of them went in private jets --, in their claim to battle global warming, none cut on emissions either by going in a
jet, or in their private lives.
And, mentioning Edwards getting 400 dollar haircuts...

this is all just from cnn...I could go to blogs and youtube where they show edwards prettying up for an hour in-front of a mirror...but that's besides the point..

I don't need any of this to tell me that democrats are fake. Subtle gestures in tone of voice and facial expressions would suffice. Their actions speak for themselves, and it’s just obvious.
Harry Reid and Pelosi asking for a troop withdrawal and seriously feeding the bill BS when they KNOW Bush is set on a vetoes? Doesn’t seem logical.

I don't pay attention to these things because their political shenanigans. A real solution for Iraq is not being thought of….its all show and it’s pretty obvious.

BTW, I don't think this only applies to extreme liberal politicians (being crazy *** communist hippies that they are), but extreme liberals in the media (aka lou dobbs t-bag).
lou dobbs is just an overloaded insecure t-bag of BS.

He is of the profile I had pointed to above...very uptight inside, and showing a fake image on the outside...

The thing is...the overload is actually good at being a hypocrite...

hey, I agree with him completely on immigration...We should be tighter on the border...we are the most welcoming nation and we must be stricter before things get out of hand...
But that's where it ends ....The guy's views on the economy would spur an isolationist crash if taken to fruition...destroying the US economy.

2007-05-02 18:08:52 · update #4

He is simply...a gay liberal hypocrite.

However, I have to say though, that the guy has gotten better at being a hypocrite, the old hag is up to his old tricks..
Bolstering his weakening and disliking image by pressing an issue he knows he will win intellectually (and which I agree)...and that is immigration...against people that clearly don't know how to argue...

good going lou dobbs... (I don't say this with any distaste or bitterness but with an endearment), your excessive hypocrisy and your tricks to adapt has supplied such amusement to me that I think...I might like you...

is that possible? Lol,I think it is. I might not respect you, but damn boy… he is funny, in every way he adapts....

He is probably the best liberal hypocrite on TV anywhere. And given the excessiveness of it, I don't think it should be a shame anymore... if people just accept this...we can take the shammers with some endearment at their tricks...and it will be all good..

2007-05-02 18:09:40 · update #5

In fact, I like watching lou dobbs, with the same enthusiasm at times that I watch john Stewart, he is a talking amusement. The great tightness lou must have in his *** and the stick he must hold must be enormous…shows great acting under pressure….pardon me, if I admire this.

If we view things this way, we will not make people even more uptight by taking things very seriously... and we can all take it a little bit more laid back…

yes, and so things should be. ….yes.

One more point..I think if people were just more honest and understanding, although they may have surprising views, they would be much more respected than the annoying overload shammer..

Just look at Tobias, his participation in the 'escort service' while supporting abstinence, this sort of hypocracy in washington has a way of coming back and making fun of the whole politican establishment...

hey, granted, politicians by definition, have a dirty job...and they have to be dishonest...more than once to get around the bend...but I think it goes beyond washington...the whole lawsuit, PC BS of US culture has formed a big cloud of balloney that is just not to be taken serious anymore...

if the hypocrites wise up, they would go for grassroots politicians tha go in commercial...and at least try..

and if we were wiser and more intelligent, we would be more practical

leave the childish antics behind, and evolve to be more direct, honest (but not stupid), understanding, balanced, patient, meritocratic (respecting those of higher ability, experience, hard-work), and get over these mental head trips that amount to nothing.

but, at least as things are, I am in no hurry to change it...it is very amusing and it is very entertaining for me...I can assure you.

mimi s...yes...I think that is excellent thinking..

steve C....some ok logic, but you don't seem to see that barack is a gamble...a big risk that the dems are not going to take...although barack is in a minority group...and minority groups must be respected...there are many other minority groups that would not like a black president, and when it comes to votes, they are just as respected in democracy than the one minority group. Its just the dynamic.

2007-05-02 18:50:42 · update #9

and I am sorry to say, not very logical nor correct...but that's democracy.

Remains to be seen....the republicans are way in the hole right now. Obama does seem to be a bit of an empty suit, but so was Bush -- and if Virginia can elect a Black governor I don't see why the US won't elect a Black President. Edwards is not going to make it...I saw that it the debate, he looked tired and was not sharp the pressure of whats going on with his wife, I thnik he will drop out. I am not a big Hillary fan but she will run a good campaign and democrats and independents will vote for her against any republicans. The people that hate Hillary are loud but probably not as numerous as you think, the Hillary haters aren't going to decide the election, the independents areand they are disgusted with the republican party. And yes, watch out for Gore. And also watch out there may be a third party spoiler candidate that could screw it up for either side.

The democrats are disingenous? lol POLITCIANS are all disingenous! Bush admin is the most disingenous group I have ever seen! Except for guys like Ron Paul and Dennis Kuchinich who never have a chance.

Lance Armstrong? He doped up for the Tour de France...

You seem to have answered your own question at length.

I object to saying both Hillary and Obama are death to Democrats. Personally, I think all a Democrat needs to win in 2008 is a pulse. As long as Republicans are still sucking up to the conservative right, they will alienate independents.

Hillary may be intensely disliked by those who dislike her, but that isn't saying much. Many people who dislike Hillary are either A) Conservatives who wouldn't ever vote for a Democrat, B) Liberals who wouldn't ever vote for a Republican, or C) People who know nothing about politics and likely wouldn't vote. So, her net effect is close to nil. She may be polarizing, but no more so than George Bush in 2004. And he won.

Obama also has great promise. There are many racists in America yes, but I would posit that many of them are conservatives. Homophobes, anti-feminists, religious right, etc. They vote Republican anyway. People are ready for a black president or a woman president.

Personally, I like Edwards (and I pray at night for Gore). But that's how I see things.

Well, my attention span wouldn't allow me to read the entire post...got work to do...but I agree on Obama for sure...I don't think he is electable. Not just the race card, but the fact that he doesn't have much experience. I think he jumped too soon. He should have waited 4 or 8 years.

Hillary, sadly, I also agree. Not because of her personality, but I think many voters were turned off by the whole stained dress deal, but also I think Americans may be getting tired of the Clinton/Bush combinations. What's next, Jeb?

Edwards may be electable. His wife supports him. I would put a thousand bucks on the fact that they talked it out in private, and his wife told him to go for it. But I don't think he would do much for America.

Yes, I too lie in waiting, hoping Al comes to the fray. He would win hands down.

My next vote would be for Lance Armstrong, albeit a Republican. I think he would win if he jumped in, but first he would need to try politics at a more local level...so maybe in 10 or 20 years.

i disagree about barack. i live in the south and some moderate whites are pretty fond of him. but i will say that blacks have invented the dumbest reasons you can think of to not support him. eg he didn't go through the civil rights movement... and hilary clinton did? *shakes head*

we're on the same page about hilary. men are totally against the idea of a female president and southern women loathe her. i don't think she's as popular as the media makes her out to be. plus she seems like a very cold person which is not someone i necessarily want to entrust the country to.

unfortunately i think you're about gore.

2007-05-02 20:42:02 · answer #4 · answered by Jazzy 1 · 0 0

hillary, yes - death sentence

but barack?
i think it might be enough of a shocker to jolt some change into an unchanging system

also, he's a "moderate" candidate, which the democrats will have a hard time producing outside of him or edwards

moderate is the only thing that will win for either side this time around

i'm a republican, so i don't have a say in their primary elections, but i don't believe it to be a death sentence to dems if they elect barack to be their candidate

Personally; I like Mike Gravel, though I don't know much about him. Doesn't matter, he's at like 1% in the polls. So I'm pulling for either Edwards or Richardson. Forget about Al Gore, he will lose in the general also! I also like Ron Paul.

Another Republican in the White House after Bush is death for the United States of America, so it really doesn't matter who the Democrats nominate.
