Probably a cockroach or beetle would freak me out more. Spiders I hate, however they are more common and at least I know that they will eat the other bugs up for me lol
In fact right now I have a guest spider staying with me, who I have hired on as a hitman lmao
I named him Syd Viscious.

I hate bugs, any kind. But of the ones you mentioned I hate spiders the most. They bite, and most times when I am bitten I have a reaction to their bite. I swell up and get a red blotch from them. Some spiders are poisonous, like snakes. I don't think cockroaches bite, but I don't know that for certain. But I do know they can crawl in peoples mouths and ears while sleeping...gross me out! Yuck!
Beetles are more a pain in the butt than anything. Annoying. Where I live we have a form of beetles they call them stink bugs. I don't think they bite but they fly at you, particularly if it is kewl outside and you have a light on they are looking for warmth.

Spiders. Definitely spiders. Just knowing that we are never more than three feet away from a spider at any given time is enough to freak me...I hate the bloody things.

Cockroaches, they are so nasty and gross....you don't know where they have been or how many there are. I can't stand it when you go to someones house and you see one crawl across the floor, I mean what do you do? Do you jump up and stomp it with your foot, or try to forget about it as they offer you something to eat??

Spiders scare the h*ll out of me. Roaches are not going to kill me. Beetles are harmless.

Cockroaches they are discusting & nasty.. I'm not afraid of them I just hate them..... Luckely for me I have none... & my cat eats all the spiders when he sees them... So I don't worry about them either.. Beetles don't bother me at all...
