Not necessarily to conquer, subdue, and exploit. It is imperative for the survival of mankind. Someday, whether it is man made of not, this planet will become uninhabitable. Every country on this planet should contribute half of their defense budget to space exploration. Everyone would have a shared interest and their would be world wide cooperation. A worldwide united space agency could lead to eternal peace?

What planet did Alien come from?
Lets see the Liberals try and colonize that.
But in reality it wouldn't really work.
People would only ruin the entire Galaxy worse than they're ruining earth.
Think about it, in the future there would be wars over natural resources between colonized planets and they would only end up nuking each other.
Peace would not be an option.
Just like it isn't here.

I hear a lot about Liberalism from above comments (presumed to be Americans) but I don't understand, because I thought Americans were either Democratic or Republican. Is Liberalism in the middle?

To hell with the other planets, I support that YOU go because this one is mine, and I will defend my real estate here fiercely.

Why colonize, when we can vote for Marvin Martian and K-9, right here on earth? Liberals should be sent to the Amazon unarmed, since they are against people owning guns! Or Exile them to the nations hey are trying to turn the country into. It's cheaper.

The Venusians are part barbarian, part nihilist. They will not put up with any neo-con, but would be interested in being served an appetizer of sweet mustard liberal.
I say we send a contingent and see if we can be amicable.
Try, and try again.

just wait until we're colonized by outside worlds, then you're going to complain about the liberal aliens destroying our government.

How could you sleep at night knowing you might subject an otherwise logical, intelligent alien race to the pathetic, illogical, appeasing, spineless ideals of liberalism!

Yes. Send the liberals to mars. Let them tax the little green men until they want to come to the U.S. illegally too.
