just curious, do they serve the country like the rest of the people in America ?...I thought it's a must for American citizen to serve as a soldier. But never really heard about any of them going to war... or they have a special privilege, since they making more money and paying more tax so they don't have to be at a war zone...

Well there isnt a draft so no one is compelled to serve, so I guess they just didn't enlist.
If there was a draft however though, they would be required to sign up....I guess that's why so many of them are against wars.

They haven't initiated the draft again yet so it's not a must for anyone to serve right now. And why would anyone in Hollywood volunteer for a job paying a small fraction of what they get now? That would be insane.

They used to, like in World War II. However, America no longer has a draft, we have an all-volunteer army, so no American is required to serve.
