In my distillation experiment, we isolated hexane and toluene, GC analysis was run and from the results, I am too determine the %composition of the two analytes in mixture. I am supposed to "correct the area of the peak" by dividing by the response factor--what values do I use?

Usually, you run the experiment with a known amount of standard. If that's the case, than you divide the area of the hexane by the area of the standard
