I really dont and its not because of any of the pictures where the shadows were all messed up or the flag was waving its just the fact that we've never went back since and the whole radiation belt thing what do you think

Yes, we did! This is one of these great conspiracy theories that just won't go away.
Do you realize how many people would have to be involved for such a scam to be successful? Too many to maintain complete control over this thing.
My mother-in-law was a believer in this same falsehood and I never could convince her otherwise.
The reason we didn't return (at least what I believe to be the truth) is that we had exhausted what we could gain from the experience at the time. The US wanted to be the first to the moon and beat the Soviets. That being accomplished the moon journeys (after Apollo 17) became almost passe.
America needed a new challenge and the Space Program moved on. But it seems that we might one day set foot upon the Moon again as talk about a possible base has popped up from time to time.
