I always wanted to be a High School English Teacher

Wow..that takes some thought..and since I am studying to be a teacher at the elementary level...hmmm

My first thought was Algebra, since I have tutored teenagers on that subject.

My second thought was Psychology-since that is what my actual degree is in.

My third thought was a foreign language-Sign Language. But I would imagine them giving me inappropriate gestures when I gave them a bad grade...j/k

Then after really thinking it through some more---Conflict Resolution (for those that didn't like the sign language class!)

No--actually, it would be in computer education. I taught CompEd in a non-for-profit agency for almost 4 years for ages 6-18.

That was one of my choices, as well as working with Special Education students, which is also something I've done in the past.

I would teach some type of college life preparation class because College life is so much different than high school. It can be a huge shock for a lot of people.

History or political science. That being said, I'd rather teach college students who actually want to learn than dealing with kids who have limited vision, no background, and are essentially forced to be there.

I would want to teach a foriegn language because they are the least boring classes and they have to make the students actually thinnk and use their brains.
