Too many people! The impact on the environment for about 3 or 4 billion people was just about tolerable. Now that there are 7 billion people on Earth, it is increasingly unable to recover from environmental damage due to human pollution.
I would pay people to not have children.

i guess the biggest environmental problem, i think, is the melting ice and the poor polar bears who can't get food. did you watch planet earth 2007, it was sad. i wouldn't know how to stop that, especially since scientist say the ice is melting 3 times the estimated rate. it seems like we have no choice but to face the consequences.
but living in Florida i do find it aggravating that you can get tax deductions on growing pine trees when pine trees don't help the environment like other trees. there should be tax deductions for letting your land grow wild, where animals can benefit and have a place to live. there aren't many animals who live in pine tree forests. wouldn't that make sense?

Our relience on oil and CO2 emmissions. unfortunately its not really a simple if you were president what would you do. i would obviously stop giving tax breaks to morons that still drive H2's around like explitive deleted, for awhile. push for better fuel economy in cars and try to get them to run off of ethenol instead of gasoline. hydrogen powered cars will not happen in the next 20 years, probably never. improve public transportation and rut it off of clean fuels. unfortunately though, oil companies donate money to political canidates and you dont kick a gift horse in the mouth.

Overpopulation. More people = more pollution. No getting around it.
Limit families to 2 kids max.

Water is the source of all life.
Too many ranchers are still dumping the waste from their fields into rivers that are now poluted, there's no fish.
Solve it!
Enforce the laws!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are killing the earth by releasing co2 into the earth dont use cars factories and more.
