They hate baseball because they don't understand the free market salaries and they hate keeping score. They can get their arms around college professors with life long tenure, high salaries, and using proctors to teach their class while they write books about how America is a racist, bigoted, warmongering country.

Apple Pie: They like apples as long as they're naturally grown. They might also use a sugar substitute.

They like dogs. You cannot punish the dog. In many states, this will get you more time in jail than slapping your spouse.
