Whites Tree Frogs are fun to watch, but they sleep all the time. Pacman frogs are great too, but they are mean. Lizards are better because they are more interactive and fun to watch. Get a bearded dragon. It's pricey to set up a cage, but it's worth if a reptile is what you're after. Good luck.

Most lizards are easier to care for than most frogs. Each has exceptions, but lizards need UV light and heat, frogs need that plus humidity which increases maintenance.

Let me suggest a Australian Bearded Dragon lizard, they are a good beginner pet.

NO QUESTION!!!!!! LIZARDS, OF COURSE!!

Here is my experience

I was looking at some lizards in a garden centre the other day. I don’t know why I find them fascinating but I do. I’m looking at these lizards and they seem identical to each other. Like exact copies. They behave in the same way. It’s like they are the same thing. Just in a different space-time. There is something odd about this. These lizards are more similar to each other than two human beings. It is perhaps that that is sparking something off. Because the lizards are animals and they seem more alike than humans it allows the consideration of us as animals with the concept of our similarity heightened. The thought or concept that I am struggling with is the idea that we are all the same person. It’s kind of paradoxical which doesn’t make things easier.

I like both... but if I had to choose I would ask what I wanted out of the pet.. do you want something you take care of and watch or do you want more interaction? If you want more interaction I would go with a lizard.. but why choose.. there are many kinds of frogs and lizards that you can get and keep in one terrarium.

You should get a lizard and a frog. Then feed the frog to the lizard.

Lizards. You can pick a lizard up and play with it. A frog is mostly for looks.

frogs are boring, and not great to handle, i would reccomend a lizard such as a bearded dragon or a water dragon. these are small ones both grow to about 3 foot, are very tame never bite, perfect for people just starting out.
