I can't speak for Mississippi specifically; however, nearly all TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) is based on income, savings, and earning ability and it does not matter if you are male or female.

Pretty much the level you can make to get any assitance is well below poverty level and if you have any type of asset or any type of savings, you will not qualify.

However, the standards for getting help with childcare at a licensed daycare are a bit higher and may be worth looking into, as is subsidized housing. The downside with subsidized housing is there is generally a 6 month waiting list.

Food banks vary from region to region what their criteria are; some you need a voucher from the welfare office. However, at some churches that offer assistance without you making prove that you have the need financially; most have their giveaways on Saturday mornings and they will give you food based on the number in your household.

Why should they pay for your kids? You act as if being single some should entitle you to a payday.

I would gladly contribute to your retroactive abortion.
