Please either grow it out or keep it long. Long hair makes women even more beautiful than they already are.

I already wear mine long, but my momma taught me that what I do with my hair and how I dress should never be to please a boy.

I used to change my hair frequently (cutting it or dying it) because I'd get bored with my appearance and my hair is the easiest thing to change. I do like long hair, but the upkeep can be murder. Right now, my hair is the longest it's ever been and I'm trying to grow it longer. The only reason I'm doing this is because I want to donate my hair to Locks of Love or some other charity that turns donated hair into wigs for cancer kids. In less than a year, I'll be chopping all my hair off and having a wild 'do again. I can't wait!

I can understand why men love long hair on women, but some of the reasons they like it are the same reasons why some women hate it. I have to be careful because sometimes I'll wake up at night choking because my hair is wrapped so tightly around my throat or it'll get so tightly knotted around my necklaces that I have to either cut those hairs out or rip them out. Not to mention it's a pain to constantly have hair in your face. And you shed all over. I don't know how much of my hair I eat each day.

I go through phases where sometimes I want long hair and others when I want short hair. I've always held a little bit of resentment toward anyone who got mad at me for cutting my hair. That's such a superficial thing to be angry about. If my man thinks I'm ugly or less beautiful without long hair, he's probably not the right person for me. The right one looks beyond the physical to see the person I am.

I agree with you completely. Mine is down below my shoulders now. I had it cut for the first time in years last December because it was necessary.

Unfortunately it never grows much longer no matter what I do. And long broken hair is not nearly so nice as medium length and healthy!

In Islam women are encouraged to have longer hair because it is feminine. It grows much healthier under the scarf because of protection from the elements. But "manly" or "butch" cuts are definitely not smiled upon.

My hair is long. It used to go a little past my bottom, but then I cut off 9 inches to give Locks of Love (they make wigs out of human hair and donate them to children who have lost their hair during cancer treatment) That was 6 months ago. Now it's halfway down my back.

Of course sweetheart, I will do anything you ask!
It is my duty to serve you and I will do it very happily and willingly because as long as you're pleased with me I am happy.
Also, it is much more feminine for women to have long hair, didn't we already discuss this?
At least 6 inches below shoulders is appropriate and just for you, I will make sure my hair is 8 inches below my shoulders!
And thanks for calling me beautiful sir...you are very handsome yourself, no matter what kind of hair-cut you get!
XOXO

For some reason, my mom used to make me wear short hair when I was a kid (think up to my ears). It was really cute, but when the guy at Subway called me "Sir", last year, I decided it was time for a change. lol

Thanks, guess I am more beautiful than I already am. That long hair I have does the trick. I plan on keeping it long and I'm in my 40s.

Sorry, it was long-- but its so thick that it makes me really hot and got in the way when I was in the hospital.
So I cut it short. Its much more manageable and comfortable short. Plus, its out of the way during surgery.

I always keep my hair should length or longer but would cut it short if I looked good in short hair. .. a lot of women do.
