I think the sound of it is very pretty, and it looks pretty spelled out, but the sound doesn't match how it's spelled if you get my drift.
I predict anyone with that name would be forever correcting peoples' spelling and telling people how to say her name properly.. it would be a royal pain!!
that's the only problem with some invented names, they can get really confusing.

My best friend's name is Leena (Indian) which apparently means "devoted" your spelling is quite different from those.. but, in regards to an Indian nature, most of the names don't have a set spelling because of many people's transliteration styles from Devanagari (Hindi script) or a similar Indian script. Hopefully the person who will be the recipient of this name will realize the beauty of it. foreign names such as the one you've chosen (even if you didn't know it had foreign origins) are generally very culturally tied, meaning that people who have this names in other cultures know what the name means in their language, and it is a very powerful connection to who they are.

Its pretty, but I think a lot of people would try and pronounce it "Lynn - a" I prefer the spelling Lena.

It's pretty. But I'm sure most people will pronounce it wrong when seeing how its spelled.

I've seen the name spelled "Lena." And yes, it is a pretty name. I prefer names that are not common.

I think it's very pretty. It sorta reminds me of the girl's name from sisterhood of the traveling pants. Only I think her name was Lena.

I think that the proper pronunciation is pretty ... however, this is an unwise name to choose for anybody because everyone's reaction (I can honestly tell you) is going to be the pronunciation of "Linna." It was mine.

I don't like it for a new generation child. I think it sounds like an old name and it will always be mispronounced by everyone and this is annoying, believe me, I have an often mispronounced name.
