i have seen that scientists dont have that good english, but many agree and disagree, so are they good in english??

Some are. A lot aren't. To get anywhere in science as a researcher you have to publish papers (articles) in journals which have to be written. Good English expression is an advantage.

Well, obvously, someone in the natural sciences (physics, astronomy,etc.) or engineering doesn't spend the time writing as someone like my self (history). But most are actually fairly goood--at least at "technical writing."

Normally they are not good. As they concentrate more on their Scientific Subject, they do not give much concentration in English, as such any language of communication.
