Everyone is prone to cheating, men are just more bold.

People cheat for several reasons, but here's the big one:

You've made a commitment to someone you've later realized you no longer (or never did) love. Admitting you don't love someone is the hardest thing to do. You have to first admit a mistake, accept responsibility, and worst of all: make someone cry.
So isnt it just easier to just not rock the boat? Get a little somthin somthin on the side.. only problem is that eventually your consience catches up with you, and the guilt leads to a confession.

I think this is the main reason. If people took more responsibilty in relationships (men, in your case) we'd see less adultery.

Most of the time, people, men and women, don't mean to hurt each other, they just are not thinking clearly. Some of the issues that get in the way are immaturity, selfishness, thoughtlessness, and greed. But even though these sound like harsh attributes, most people don't mean to be harsh or mean. They just make bad choices. Usually, they do not begin to grow past these things until they experience some sort of detriment themsleves. (Sometimes learning does not take place until there is detriment.) Then life changes, and they begin to think.....think about others, think about the future, think about their reputations, and life generally, and they begin to change, if they want to grow. If someone has cheated on you, don't take it personally though it may hurt very deeply. (And that does not mean that you should excuse it or take the person back.) But understand that the act of cheating on you had nothing to do with you. It was just about a person who was not ready for what they had. They really probably meant no harm.

Men cheat because they are not satisfied with there marriage. I think it's in there genes. My husband cheated on me off and on for 18 years. I divorced him twice, and why I married him the second time was because of the kids and our family's. He swore he never do it again, but he did! They get bored with the wife and try to spice things up a bit! It doesn't matter who they hurt, they just do it. I am getting married in 3 days to a man I know in my heart will never cheat. Most men that do cheat >> ( 9 out of 10 fathers) cheated on there wife. It's some what learned behavior!!!

you know this question is repeatedly asked on here and here is the answer for you there is no one reason why people cheat its not just men that are doing it what about the women that is participating right along with the men but for some reason its always the guys fault,people cheat because they are missing something in their relationship maybe its friendship or communication or it could be that they feel taken for granted and not appreciated any more.there is always more than one person in a relationship so what ever happens must be shared by both and its also a possibility that he or she is just a horn dog out to get whatever they can and if that is the case and you put up with it then its your fault for not stopping it.

Seriously, I'm sure there is a distinct excuse for each cheater. If your marriage isn't working, why not get a backbone and get help or get a divorce or just decide to suck it up and make the best of it. Betrayal and deceit doesn't change anything--it just makes things worse. What about the person they are cheating with. A lot of times, those poor women just get led down the primrose bath and the guy never leaves his wife.

Hanging with the wrong crowd of people that encourage it , the environment and morals they grew up in, society advertising the freedom to run brothels, sell sex magazines, run strip clubs, massage par lours, clothes designers that don't leave much to the imagination,the Internet with all it's porn web sites and it's easy aces to meeting just about anything on line.....to people that have sex addictions..to individuals that develop psychological personalities that are just philanders..,to feeling that they are intitled to it. Men and women cheat, if you haven't noticed, it takes two. The art of dating and courtship has been lost in our society.
