well strangely enough, its something that I feel rather strongly about. With coffee, its of critical importance that the milk is added prior to the hot water, otherwise the coffee is completely ruined.
With tea, its not so important and besides, I like to watch the swirling opaque cloud effect. Howsoever, I believe if you dont have decent access to straining apparatus, then adding the milk first can assist the leaf matter to flocculate.
So there you have it.
oh, I nearly forgot, coffee needs a bit of sugar to make it worthwhile whereas tea has more subtle flavours that sugar detracts from.

I put the milk in after pouring the coffee ... if you put the milk in first, you can never really tell how much is in the cup. If it turns out too light, there is no way to fix it, short of wasting coffee by dumping some back out of the cup so you can darken it.

I put the tea in first, then the milk. The reason they used to add the milk first, and then the tea was that in the past, they used really fine china, and sometimes the china would crack if hot tea was added to it without anything, like milk to temper it.

At least thats what I read somewhere..

For me, it is all concerning melatonin levels, which count on tryptophan. what's accessible here isn't like what's accessible interior the U.S., so don't get fussed if somebody from over there sends you on a goose chase. :-) 5 HTP (hydroxytryptophan) is a precursor it is accessible. Holland & Barrett's is the only that works maximum suitable for me, the manufacturers my favorite shop incorporates the two have valerian, which i do no longer consistently get on nicely with. Tryptophan is in numerous meals, which contain peanut butter. while i'm badly in pick, a peanut butter sandwich could make a snooze unavoidable. So my suggestion is to have a PB sandwich approximately an hour in the past you pick to sleep. If that works, attempt a supplement. The supplementations would desire to be centred on a 'carbohydrate snack' yet no longer protein. The cool ingredient approximately it is it is quite addressing the reason of a few insomnia. and turn off seen stimulators like the television and computing device a minimum of an hour in the past-hand to. as quickly as you get your physique acclimated to falling asleep earlier, you would be extra beneficial waiting to administration, yet until eventually then the fast neural firing is in basic terms one extra ingredient holding you wakeful.

I put my sugar in first so I make sure I have the right amount in. Then I pour in the coffee because it's hot and it will absorb the sugar better. Then I put in the cream. Then I'll usually add just a little bit of vanilla extract.

It's a science.

I have put milk/creme in my mug before the actual coffee went in multiple times. I do this because as the hot liquid swirls around in my mug, it mixes everything together for me without the use of a spoon or stick.

I don't use cream or milk in my coffee, but I do use sugar, and I put the sugar in first, then I pour in my coffee so that I don't have to stir the coffee, cause it's already stir ed for me.
