Save your $ on make up.

The best thing to do is to repair your skin. See a dermatologist & ask about Retin-A or Differin. These prescription products speed up exfoliation and stimulate collagen production which helps even out skin tone & minimize shallow acne scars.

It is key to wear sunscreen while using Retin-A or Differin to avoid sun damage/sun burn.

Try a retinol or an alpha hydroxy acid. You can get a 12% alpha hydrox at walgreens or cvs. Also use a good sunscreen daily. In the meantime, try an oil free foundation that has good coverage like Lancome tint idole, Clinique Stay true or Estee Lauder Double wear. Use a loose powder, and then a little blush.

I'm not very good with skin care problems, because I have acne problems of my own. But the key to evenly covered skin is to moisturize. Every day when I put my makeup on, I saturate my skin in a light moisturizing skin cream. It really works best with me when it's so saturated that it feels damp to the touch, then I dot my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin with foundation. (I really love L'oreal true match) when it mixes with the face lotion it really does spread SO good and evenly. For tougher problems that are a little harder to cover up, get a thicker concealer and put it on AFTER the foundation.

PS- "Purpose" skin lotion is my all time #1 favorite. So creamy and rich. Try it!!

Well when ever I want to cover something up I always use liquid foundation first then I use the powder over top. Then I use like a paper towel/tissue and just lightly rub it over my face to even it out. It works for me.

Mary Kay has a great skincare line. They do have a product that gives you a more even skintone. Also, you should see a dermotologist about your acne marks...they can give you something for that.

Best Wishes
