Got the tux today, Prom is in three days and his shirt sleeves come down past the middle of his hand. I don't think we can get back to the shop to have them mend it in time. Any suggestions? I am NOT a seamstress!!
For the dance he will have the jacket off and sleeves rolled up but for pictures and dinner they need to be fixed.

you cam always just use masking tape...it is a low adhesive and a light pressing.
if it is an error on the tUX RENTAL SHOP, THEY HAVE TO FIX IT AND WITHIN THE TIME OF THE EVENT

Just for the pictures, you could have him wear large rubber bands on his upper arms. Put them on and pull the shirt sleeves up enough to where the cuffs will be in the proper place. Make a neat fold of the fabric over the rubber bands so the shirt doesn't wrinkle too much.

simply tuck the cuff up over the end of the sleeve and tack it with a few loose stitches, if you alter it too much the tux place will make you pay for the shirt.
