My son keep buying fish from this same pet store retailer and I don't understand why the fish are dying. I don't know if its the fish tank because one day he bought a beta fighter, next 2 times it were gold fish so I don't know we both need some help on this.

yes, you can get a necropsy on a fish. Some vets could provide that service as could any college with a Fisheries department. It would no doubt cause you a bundle from a vet so it should only be done in the event of a lose among a very expensive fish population.

A necropsy costs upwards of $200 usually. People usually only do them when a population of fish dies suddenly or if an expensive/big/rare fish dies and they want to know why.

Previous 4 answers combined are all good. If it's a cheap fish,it doesn't pay. If you can get it to a marine biologist,that might be an idea.

I'm sure you could but how through it would be is the question & it would probably cost you an insane ammount of money
