The celebrities sure seem to think its great, but they'll do pretty much anything if you throw some money at em. Has anyone ever really tried it, or know someone who has?

Proactive works but it's not worth the $ IMHO.
I got good results w/ Oxy 10 face wash, PanOxyl soap bars (5%) & Neutrogen Clean Pore Wash/Mask (I only used it as a mask).
If you do use benzoyl peroxide products, wear SPF to protect your skin.

yes proactive works just fine. I do not use proactive anymore however... There is something just like proactive called AcneFree it works just as well as proactive it is just cheaper and you can get it in your local grocery store, walmart, target, or kmart, or if you really want to you can probably find it at a costco or sams, for really cheap! It is in a white bottle with orange and blue lines going across.

the thing about proactive is that you might not see real results until you have bought your second two month supply, that was my experience, i had tried several other options by the time I tried using proactive, during the first two months i didn't see much results, but after i bought it the second time around my face really did clear up.

Proactiv works very well. There is a cheaper version that also works called Acne Free. I have personally used both.

I guess that results vary for different people, I've heard that it really works, and others say that it's just a waste of money, but I personally started using it and I like it, it won't leave skin feeling tight or drie, it feels good and the skin is left really soft.

proactiv works great but only if you use it regularly and follow the directions step by step. and even after it clears up you have to keep using it or your acne will just come back. my advice its a wise investment if you cant find anything else that will work.

i used proactiv for about 2 years straight when it first came out and it worked amazing..but that was also when it was a heck of alot more expensive....the prices went down which was nice but i think the quality went with it....either that or i grew immune to it...

I bought the two month supply and used it religiously. They say that your face gets worse for like two weeks and then gets very clear, but mine just looked worse and worse the entire two months. It was a total waste of money.

works great i found that it cleared my teens face up good just keep useing it but i will warn yha if you have allergies make sure to read whats in the product i used the facial mask and i broke out in hives b/c it has sulfa in it

My sister used it and she was really happy with the results but a friend of mine also used it and said it did nothing for her so I guess it has to do with your skin and the reaction to the product.
