If it was the love of my life, what reason is there to not wait for him? Three years is short and you can accomplish much in three years.

I guess because I have already wasted three years of my life with someone who does not want to be my true love!! If I was definitely going to be with him after three years and feel the same then I would totally do it, I don't mind being single so it wouldn't be very hard for me. Unless Leland Chapman wanted me in those three years, then it would be near impossible to be true and wait for the love of my life.

At this point in my life, if I am not married to the guy I would move on. Also, there is no guarantee that anyone will be with you forever, even if your married. But, there is a certain measure of safety in it.
Basically, I wouldn't wait.

If I loved someone I wouldn't mind waiting. As soon as I got impatient or started to lose interest I would know that I was not truely in love -- so if it is love there shouldn't be a problem.

Most definitely. Currently I *am* waiting to reunite with her. It feels like it'll take forever, but I'm not going to give up.

i'd mess around. 3 years is a LONG time to be alone. MAYBE nothing serious, but i would have some fun in the meantime.
