I live in St. Louis, MO. I'm looking for a fast growing, low maintenance, nice looking ground cover for my steep incline front yard. I already have ivy growing up a very large shade tree in the front yard. I would like something that looks good year-round.

I like liriope, juniper, and I will add crown vetch - awful sounding name, but it has a really great growing habit - invasive if in a place where you want to contain it, and it has pretty pink flowers. I have a friend that has it growing on a steep incline in part sun and it looks great.

Good luck.
