In game 5, Jason Terry threw Baron Davis to the floor and he only got one technical. Stephen Jackson just claps after a foul is called and he gets tossed. And I haven't seen any news or articles talking about what Terry did. Do you think Terry should be at least fined for his actions?

And to clear things up, the box score on NBA.com and yahoo both state Stephen Jackson had ONE technical.

It's purely spectacle. Stephen Jackson was ejected because he was Stephen Jackson. Clearly the ref didn't like being taunted (his opinion) and the game was in Dallas. This type of thing happens more often than we think. Refs and players are so familiar with each other sometimes I think it gets in the way of judgement. As for Terry, that was clearly a flagrant foul and he should have received a technical for it. I'm a western conference fan and my mom is a die hard Mav fan and we both agree that the lack off officiating there was evident.

First off because, Stephen Jackson has a bad history, so they are quick to punish him....Also I seriouslly think that, The league wants Dallas to win this series, I think they will get the best of the calls though out the series (Like the Spurs) But I agree, If Stephen Jackson threw Golden boy Jason Terry on the floor, he probally would of got a one game suspension!

You know the answer to this question. The refs were doing their best job to officiate a win because they thought that the Mavs couldn't do it without them. Funny thing is, they're right. On their home court, Dallas has insane amounts of trouble containing Golden State. On Golden State floor, Dallas has no hope. When Dallas was down 3-1 they needed every game, but Golden State had 3 chances to beat Dallas. Dallas is in alot of trouble though because the refs in Golden State are more interested in calling a game fairly than trying to give an unfair advantage. Choke Dallas, choke!

There are a couple of reasons here. First off, Dallas is on its home court. Refs tend to make hometown calls in most situations, especially in the playoffs. Calls will go more the home team's way. Second, Stephen Jackson has a bad rep. Fighting with fans and firing a loaded weapon isn't going to make your rep any better. Third, the NBA wants Dallas to win. How bad will it look if a #8 seed beats a #1 seed? Especially a team with 25 more wins? Dallas will bring more ratings when they play the Suns than the Warriors will.

the refs were bias. Jackson got thrown out just for clapping and davis gets his 6 foul when he didnt even touch howard but they leave terry in after what he did to davis. Ok maybe he didnt throw him to ground trying to kill him but when you put your arms around a guys neck that should be an automatic flagrant especially when it happens in front of the warriors bench.

The thing that was funny to me was what was the point in calling the technical with 8.9 seconds in the game?!! WTF!
While I disagree with the call he shouldn't have done that simply b/c 2 other times in the past month refs have called technicals for the same thing. He should just keep his cool and not allow the referees to make decisions like that that could cost them the game.

The game was over anyway and Davis totally was acting on that play. It's alright because Golden state has shown a serious commitment to this series. I am a Nuggets fan and I would have loved to have seen Camby or Nene throw a hard elbow into Dunkin and get ejected. I like how Jackson got ejected because he showed everyone how pissed off he was when his team lost. G State is going to go on to the next round because they play with so much energy and they want to win more than Dallas.

"Just claps". If someone claps and says "You're a genius" sarcastically after you say something, wouldn't you get mad? And Terry didn't really do that much to Davis. It was a technical, yes, but not that much of one.
