Edexcel Chemistry: Percentage by mass of ion?

Hi, I have my practical exam coming up next and I'm wondering what examples are suitable for preparing for the following question:

Question 4 - Plan an experiment to determine the percentage by mass of an ion in a given compound

I only know one experiment which was the iodometric determination of copper in brass.....

If you could provide me with some suitale examples I'll be very very grateful. Thanks!
