Neither. I truly think that the wrong turns, stumbles, falls and hardships that you experience in life make you who you are. If you went back and changed things then you wouldn't be who/where you are today. Same as in the future. Also, without pain and hardship you wouldn't know what hapiness is and you wouldn't appreciate being happy. People will say that they want to skip the bad stuff or fix up past mistakes but that would make life 'happy' all the time and you wouldn't make any mistakes. This isn't a life its an edited movie. Live your life. Deal with the bad and enjoy the good!
