Yes I do and I do it because I keep them in the freezer so that when I get a craving for chocolate I can satisfy it with just a handful of chocolate chips instead of pigging out on heaven knows what.

sometimes. after i put them on the cookie dough to bake and i still have extras i just eat it straight out. its yummy that way :]
