I really want to collect some mercedes benz die cast models and the 1:24 scale models are almost as half the price (around $12.00) as 1:18 scle models (around $28). Does the 1:18 scale models worth for their higher price than 1:24 scale models?
I mean the inside of the car details and everything.
And also why is 1:18 scale models more expensive than 1:24 models.
And please tell me some good relliable websites for me to buy any one of those for a cheaper price.

I've been collecting die casts for many years. I started out collecting the 1:24's, because they were more in my price range. Over the years my taste and income has changed. I now collect only 1:18 or larger, I prefer them because there is more detail. The cars I collect are from the Danbury and Franklin Mints. They are in the range of $125. and up. I can give you a site that has models in the $15 to $40 dollar range. Happy collecting. I know it's a hobby I love.
