The Principality of Andorra is an European mini-state, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by France and Spain. It's a prosperous country because of tourism and its status as a tax haven.

Traditionally it was ruled by the bishop of Urgell, Spain, and the French king together.

During World War II, Andorra remained neutral and was an important smuggling route between Vichy France and Francist Spain.
