Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Stepin Wolf, Jefferson Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix. Stuff like that until my mom started working for a country radio station. I love the old rock still, but I can't stand country anymore.

Both of my parents, when I was a kid, back in
the '60s, listened to the then-popular "rock 'n'
roll" groups--everyone from The Beatles to the
"one-hit wonders," such as The Cyrkle -- who
were discovered by John, Paul, George and
Ringo's original manager, Brian Epstein; The
Cyrkle's one and only hit: "Red Rubber Ball,"
written by Paul Simon of the incomparable
Simon & Garfunkel.
I still listen to those same songs today.

well, my mum only ever listened to Elvis Presley songs and songs that are very old, slow songs. my dad would only ever listen to portuguese music. it was ok listening to portuguese music as it's normal being that my family are kinda portuguese, but as a child, i didnt really like listening to all those slow, old songs. i didnt mind elvis presley songs though, but after a while it got really repetitive. as a result, i focused my attention to playing an instrument.. the piano. by 7th grade, i was totally over playing it
