Uh, chemistry?

balance the equation:

Clearly 1 ethane makes 3 waters.

So 0.390 moles of ethane makes three times that many moles of water.

Multiply by the molar mass of water to get the mass in grams.

Molar mass of water = 16 for oxygen + 2*1 for two hydrogens.

This question belongs in "chemistry"

First you have to balance the equation.

multiply the 0.390 moles of C2H6 by the molar ratio of water / ethane. That gives yoou moles of water

Multiply that by 18 g / mol and you are done
