Ambrosia was the symbol of pleasure and happiness. Anything ambrosial was delightful and pleasing.

In Greek myth, as well as being the food of the gods, Ambrosia one of the Nymphs who nursed Dionysus the god of wine. Again since wine was regarded as a source of pleasure, Ambrosia is the nurturer of this.

I have a friend named Ambrosia. It's a very beautiful, unique name. And if she ever wants to feel more normal, she just goes by Amber.

When I think of ambrosia I think of that nasty 'salad' I am forcefed whenever I visit southern relatives.

Amber would be a better name, I think.
