Everyone hears about soccer, basketball, football, baseball, etc. But no one ever mentions lacrosse or field hockey. Do you know of any sports that most people forget about when they think athletics?

Boxing. Only pure modern sport. The most forgotten and under-appreciated had to be gladiatorial competition.

ok, no, no one hears about soccer unless its a world cup year and thats every 4 years or if you're really into it. I cant walk up to someone and start up a soccer conversation but I know I can strike up a football conversation in seconds, so dont put soccer in that category. But to answer the question lacrosse is fun to watch and ive gotten into watching Curling a lot

I would have to say bowling. People look at it for just a night out for fun, but it is a very competitive sport. More people bowl participate in bowling than any other sport in the U.S.
