Green shadow looks great on brown eyes. Also try lining your eyes with a bright blue or teal eye liner. I saw a great picture of Halle Berry once where she was wearing blue eye liner and all of her other make-up was neutral in tone. She looked great and her eyes popped.

try a bronze eyeshadow. to add extra emphasis and class, opt for a shimmering bronze/brown color. if you can get a bronze/brown quartet of eyeshadow, all the better, as the most beautiful makeup is usualy blended of adleast 2-3 different shades of one color.
just have a play around with different options, and remember; natural beauty needs to shine through! even if you're wearing makeup, you want to look natural not overly made up. you look much more beautiful this way.
