I will be 16 this summer and have a job I dont know where yet but I will have a job. I was really hoping like everyone does to get a cool job, but how can I get one and where. Please know stupid answers I am well aware of all the commen jobs.

Go check out McDonald's. They may not be the coolest job in the world, but they're usually very flexible about scheduling your shifts. If you're in sports, or band, or have things to do at certain dates, they are really good about scheduling around those for you.
Take a tip from someone who's been there - you can hold your nose up until you get a "cool" job, or you can get out and hustle now to find a job before the end of school comes, and everyone else that's 16 is looking for their first job. Those people are your competition right now. Which would you rather be - have money in your pocket from working at McDonald's like half the world did for their first job, or unemployed and broke because you're too proud to work anything but a cool job?
Keep this in mind, too - your friends will get really tired of you bumming a ride if you can't kick in for gas money, and your parents will get really tired of them driving you everywhere.

I consider a job in a coffee shop, a book store, or a local record store a pretty sweet job...
Coffee House - I love coffee and it smells so good in a coffee shop.
Book store - I like to read and you can meet intelligent people.
Record store - How can there be a job better than sitting around listening to your favourite albums and helping people find their next one?
I'm on the hunt for a job myself... But, I'd say to actually get the job dress nice and look happy. Nobody wants to hire someone that looks depressing...
