there is a town in Illinois that has the most trains going through it. It has installed seats for the public and has areas for filming and picture taking. So making u-turns to see trains might seem a little strange, viewing trains is very popular.

I've never done a U-turn to watch a train, but when my wife and I were dating we used to park in a spot where they went by, so we saw quite a few passing trains. Even better was hearing train whistles, I still love that sound.

My 2 year old is obsessed with choo choos, I recently did a search on youtube for train videos - I could not believe how many are on there. Your husband is not the only one, there seems to be a huge group of people fascinated by trains. Its an innocent obsession - he could be ogling Hooters waitresses!

He has a fascination in trains. There is nothing wrong with it and there is plenty other grown men that love trains and spend lots of money on Toy Train setups.
