My Dawn Redwood hasn't shown any growth this spring??

i live in eastern pa and it was planted last year. it seems alive but when should it start getting green?

I live in Eastern Massachusetts, my Dawn redwood is about 10 years old and I can expect until the 15 of MAY at least to show signs of life! My Northern Larch or Tamarack tree is barely starting to bud now and it is even hardier I THINK than the Dawn Redwood in New England

i am no expert but, i have heard that dawn redwoods are sometimes damaged by early fall frost .

Those things are survivers. Just wait untll the snow is gone for good. It will come back.
