i think that it is possible but not very common ...any thoughts welcome

I think it is quite possible. True love comes in all shapes and forms, no matter if you're white, black, Asian... why should these things matter when you've found love? The truth is, when you've found the right person, I think that those "problems" are thrown out the window. Plus, society is really open nowadays, so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's very possible because I lived it. From my avatar you can kind of tell I am black
I was raised to only be involved with a black jamaican male and if I was not still living there as I have not in almost 19 years, then it should be an African American male.
I got a lot of static for the person I am now with from some family and friends. He is white Hispanic. He also got static from his parents and friends.
they have since come around since we have been together for over 7 years and we have a son.

I think that it could happen in real life and that someone's parent and friends could really be against you dating someone outside your race but that white man was fine though
