Hmm... I think I would have demanded my money back if it were.

There are the "guru types" that have come to this conclusion and teach this as a "possibility".
I have read the interesting theory that we act from "constructs" in our thoughts and create our own drama, accordingly.
Years ago I had a very real "movie" experience. There were no drugs, alcohol, etc. involved (just to clear that up!)...I was attending a retreat week end and had been a little more quiet than usual. I was sitting outside when, very suddenly, something changed. I looked around and realized that nothing seemed real! I went into the house where other attendees were having lunch and felt like I had walked into a stage setting! It was very surreal!
While this 'state' lasted (twelve hours) the most profound part was the humor. I just smiled or giggled at the absurdity of everything. It was almost like we were all being 'tricked'...life is one big, not so funny, joke!!
I drove home from the retreat in rush hour traffic and this grand serenity stayed with me. When I went to bed, I remember wondering if it would be gone in the morning!
The next day, the chatter in my head picked back up and 'normalcy' returned!
If we spent our days in this humorous condition, we would get no thing done because no thing would matter! Really!

Yes but I think of mine as an ongoing sit-com and all the other players are my co-stars and the people in the periphery are the extras. Once in a while an extra can get out of line and run a red light or something like that and cause a traffic accident messing up my storyline just because they are tired of me being the star (jealousy is never pretty) . Some drop out of the series all together by dieing or moving away and usually without giving notice. This doesn't affect the script too much as I can ad lib fairly well and so can my co-stars, it just makes it a little more inconvenient.
The writers seem to have a pretty good sense of humor and I even get a kick out of my own show now and then.
I am, however, still waiting for my first Emmy nomination.
Would you like to be in my series? I'm always looking for a new co-star and your Avatar looks like a "babe". We can always use a good looking babe in the show.
Have your people get in touch with my people.

That's exactly what we are! Starring on our own little stage and everyone else is just a supporting cast or an extra! Of course, that doesn't mean that we should have a star complex and treat others like dirt. It just means that we need to perfect ourselves before we worry about what others are doing wrong.

Yes; of course we are!
In fact, I'll go much bigger than that and say that we are our complete 'own world'.
When one occasionally says about another, "Oh, he lives in his own world," they weren't thinking too close to 'home', for we ALL live in and make our own world ... and that is simply because that is "Reality" - meaning, one day, in the eternities, God will give us each our own entire Kingdom and world to govern ... if we righteously learn the principles and obey them, that prepare for this most wonderful dream and promise to come to pass.
It is for this reason that we literally do in this life, believe in and live in and make our own world.
Here is just a training ground - a preparation for what will be one day ... and He has put that spirit into our beings that believes in our own dreams and in our own world.
So, I don't know about a "movie"; I would say it's all much bigger than that.

That depends on whether you are choosing to act in it, direct it, report on it, watch it or direct it. Throughout life, we shift. The core of the movie is always "you!" - And YOU are responsible!
