and ever since ive gotten a bloodfin, it seemed to chase/follow it around alot.
so if my barb IS pregnant..
what do i do????
how can i prevent the eggs being eaten and any other harm??

If it is heavy with eggs you would first need a male that is ready to breed to go with it.

Barbs like your are egg scatterers and you would best protect the eggs by placing the male and female in a tank with something like marbles on the bottom and a lot of fine leafed plants in the tank. Also keep the water level low, only a few inches over the substrate. This way the eggs can fall into the substrate quickly and be where the parents can't eat them. You would then remove the adults and raise the fry in the breeding tank.

Here's a link about breeding them with much more detail

Hope that helps.
