simplify the fraction first:

45 / 5 = 9

m^3 / m = m^2

n^2/n^4 = 1/n^2

So under the sqrt sign you have:

9m^2 / n^2


Take the sqrt of that and you get:

3m/n

sqrt 45m^3n^2/5mn^4=
sqrt 45/5=9
m^3/m=m^2(when you divide ,subtract exponents)
n^2/n^4=1n^2

sqrt 9m^2/n^2= 3m/n
