How do I document dog ownership?

My boss gave me one of his dogs, it is very expensive. I have thoughts about quiting my job and i am afraid that he will take it back.

Can he legally do that? He still have the papers on the dog, but he openly gave the dog to me because it wasn't happy with his other dogs.

Any advice?

You have to register the dog under your name as a donation from your superior so that when you quit your job it is already under your name. The possession of the dog is not a condition that you cannot quit your job because it is against the labor laws.
